Michael Kightly is hopeful he will be fit for Wolves' trip to face Midlands rivals Coventry at the Ricoh Arena in the Championship on Saturday.
The winger had to leave the field after just half an hour of Tuesday's 3-3 draw against Norwich with a shoulder problem, but is optimistic he will line up against the Sky Blues.
"I had a scan on it on Wednesday and we are just waiting for the results from the specialist, but I should be all right for Coventry - I certainly hope so anyway," Kightly told the club's official website.
Defender Neill Collins returns after completing his two-match ban, while new signing Christophe Berra could make his debut having now had a few days training with his new team-mates.
Nigel Quashie will be hoping to earn a place in midfield while manager Mick McCarthy must decide whether to keep faith with Andy Keogh alongside Sylvan Ebanks-Blake in attack or go with Chris Iwelumo or Sam Vokes.
